International distinctions

Anchored in the landscape of the French Grandes Ecoles of Engineering, ENSGSI is also developing its national and international networks. Thus, the ENSGSI :

    • Is the first school in Europe to be accredited by the IAMOT label  » Management of Technology « .
    • in March 2015, the International Council on Systems Engineering and The Systems Engineering Research Center entered the directory of universities and educational institutions internationally recognised for the quality of their training in « systems engineering ».

As an engineering school accredited by the CTI (Commission des Titres d’IngEnieur)for the maximum duration, the ENSGSI engineering degree is also labelled « EUR-ACE ». This label is a benchmark for students in their choice of training and their international mobility and for companies in their international recruitment.

MANAGEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY

ENSGSI is the first school in Europe to be accredited by the IAMOT label  » Management of Technology « .
This accreditation is issued by the international scientific association IAMOT (International Association for Management of Technology) whose objective is to promote and develop training of excellence in the field of Management of Technology. So far, only 3 American universities have been accredited for 6 years. ENSGSI is the first European and French engineering school whose pedagogy and training are thus internationally recognized ! The advantages of MOT accreditation :
This accreditation ensures ENSGSI a recognition within the IAMOT community and international networks and it is also :
    • The recognition of a training in Innovation and Technology Management.
    • Development of exchanges and partnerships with universities in France and especially abroad.
    • Continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching practices through membership of the IAMOT network (benchmarking, research programs, collaborative platforms, joint projects, etc.).
    • The quantitative and qualitative improvement of the recruitment of students and doctoral students at the national and international level.

For the students :

  • An additional factor of attractiveness for the ENSGSI.
  • The recognition of our program and our diploma at the national and international level;
  • The improvement of our graduates’ employability on the international level.
It is also a reward for the ENSGSI which has always claimed, since its creation in 1993, its specificities and its values. The management of technology is above all a matter of humanity and convictions.

SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

Each year, INCOSE and SERC publish a directory of universities and educational institutions that are internationally recognised for the quality of their training in « systems engineering ».

In March 2015, the ENSGSI will enter this reference system, alongside major establishments throughout the world (Centrale Supélec, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, Imperial College London, Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace…), thus rewarding the academic effort made by the ENSGSI in the field of systems engineering.

Systems engineering ? The French Systems Engineering Association defines it as « a general methodological approach that encompasses all the activities required to design, develop and verify a system that provides an economical and efficient solution to a customer’s needs while satisfying all the stakeholders ».

The ENSGSI gives a large place to the teaching of systems engineering and its principles in order to provide its engineering students with knowledge on the evolution of organisations and their engineering (organisational engineering, project engineering), on how to steer action, how to lead change and on the skills related to it.

There is no doubt that this new international recognition of ENSGSI engineering training is an added value for the careers of current and future graduates!

CONFERENCE DES GRANDES ECOLES

ENSGSI is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), which includes 227 Grandes Ecoles (engineering, management, architecture, design, political studies institute, etc.), all of which are recognised by the State and award a master’s degree.
The CGE label attests to the excellence of a school in France.
