Each year, students from Germany, Italy , Chile , Argentina, Colombia, Morocco….. integrate ENSGSI in Engineering and Master Degrees.
There are several ways to integrate our school:
- To obtain engineering degree
- To obtain a double degree
- To come in exchange (Erasmus)
- To attend Master IDEAS in the framework of programs FITEC, Erasmus,…
Exchange students
If your home university is a partner of ENSGSI you can apply to study one or two semesters at our school. Exchange students have the possibility to integrate the Engineering Degree or the Master Degree (Speciality : Global Design). If you are interested in applying should you contact the International Office at your home institution (for application forms , scholarships…). You must be nominated by your home university to apply. After nomination, the International Office inform us of your application. Then, we will contact you directly to indicate different steps of application process. Language requirements: Courses are taught mainly in French , this is why a good level is required.
How to integrate Engineering Degree as regular student?
The Engineering training is composed of two years of preparatory classes and three years of Engineering course. Depending on your qualification, you can enroll the ENSGSI at different levels :
With a high school diploma in Sciences
The majority of students enroll in the ENSGSI by passing nationwide competitive entrance examination called “Geipi Polytech” . However, foreign students may also apply as “admis sur titres”on the basis of academic record to enroll the first year of class preparatory – With a post-graduate level: meaning either 2 years of post-secondary school-education, in which case you can join us as first-year student and follow all three years of the Engineering course.
With an under-graduate level
in which case you can join us as secondary-year students and follow the last two years of the Engineering course.
How to integrate Master Degree as regular student
Main goals
Innovation concerns as well new techniques , as new products, new proceeds or new services. It conveys to improvement technological change in companies and represents an essential strategical element for development and industrial consolidation. Effective management of innovation requires a comprehension of external factors involved in the development of a company but also the analysis of user needs, and to better take into account their expectations. The specialty MIDI aims to provide a thorough training in scientific methods of designing, piloting of innovative products and evaluation of target markets. Feature It is completed by a training in management of innovation in its human dimension. It responds to new organizations’ needs to acquire a true Innovation Engineering that can integrate simultaneously and in collaboration complementary dimensions: a technical dimension (choice of design, choice of materials, evaluation of target markets…), a managerial dimension (projects management…) and a human dimension (teams’ management…). A configuration that provides the multidisciplinary aspect of innovation process’ study. This specialty is not only set in one school but developed in a cross disciplinary way through 5 schools (ENSGSI, Ecole des Mines, ICN, Ecole des Beaux-Arts Nancy, INSA Strasbourg) and four research teams (Prentice Hall, LPM, Institut J. Lamour, LGECO-LICIA). The international dimension of this degree.Two interntional partnerships have been developed : – «La maestria Logistica” University of Cuyo in Mendoza (Argentina ) – “la Maestria Ingeneria Industrial” University of Chile Santiago do Chile (Chili).

Health Coverage
In France health insurance is compulsory to all students. The public health insurance service is called « securité sociale » – The National Health Security Service. It’s official administrator is the CPAM (Caisse Primaire d’Assurance Maladie).
Accomodation
The CROUS offers student housing for international students in Nancy. It provides quality and affordable accomodation suitable to all requirements.
